I can’t wait to see a pimp in a truck roll up to a stop with lot lizards popping out to service the community.

or even a brothel on wheels.

I’m sure someone will do it just to maximize profits.

So if the 3rd bunk is not to be used while the truck is in motion... That means 2 of the 3 guys have to use the same bunk??? I dont know about you but I'm not going to sleep on the same sheets or mattress some other dude has just sweated and farted all over for 10 hours!

They’d probably have to be midgets as well. How do you get past a scalehouse with the extra weight of a third person if you have 44,000 pounds behind you in the trailer?

CR England driver will make around $36,864 their 1st year & work 70hrs per wk & have a avg of 48 days off. So for 30hrs more work & less then half the days off you can make $5,664 more then you could flipping burgers. But you will not be sleeping in your bed at home. Nope you wil be inhaling the gaseous emissions of 2 other dudes who just ate a couple of Taco Bell Burrito's.

Year 2 ( yes a few will make it through to yr2) can look to make with CRE what I made 20yrs ago.around $52,000 or about 5-7k below national avg for the transport industry.

Now an AVG OTR Owner Operator in the US makes around $220,591 per yr minus avg operating cost of $179,400 per yr for a net take home of $41,191. Now obviously this number goes up if they can pay the truck off within 3yrs.
If I make $52,000 (same as a 2nd yr CRE driver) in my state, I will take home $43,300, $2,109 more then the avg US 0/0 OTR driver.

Now don't yell at the messenger O/O this was from a survey of over 150,000 O/O's. The fact is no matter how bad CRE is, it's not just them it's the whole OTR industry. It's a lifestyle or really only makes sense as a team driver or if you have a paid off truck that doesn't break down.
