It's one of the reasons FFE requires every new driver to go through their driver's academy and training, whether they hold a CDL or not. CSA2010 is very serious about safety. The old days are long gone. It's a new era.

Which, of course, they will do.

Exactly what is this CSA2010? Are we talking major stuff or marker lights and penny ante stuff? Not a driver, but I am curious.
-
if you get a ticket or warning you get the points. if you get rear ended YOU get the points..! btw my csa score is N.D. "No Data"
-
Isnt it only if you get a inspection with that not just a ticket. Not really sure myself at this point.
Still say the hell with CSA and FTP! -
yes it must be with a inspection but warnning count just as much as a ticket does. and if you hit someone or if you are hit BY someone you will get the points without a inspection even if the other driver gets the ticket
-
What kind of points you gonna get if you get hit? Failed to avoid accident you never saw coming.
CSA 2010 is a big FAIL. Just get inspection reports, be happy to just take the ticket and smile if you don't get a inspection with it. Don't forget to be polite and say thank you and have a nice day sir. -
the points are for being involved in the crash, at fault has nothing to do with it
-
Serious stuff too. I picked up 9 pts for 2 markers out. We have guys whom picked up 40 pts at one stop. For perspective I am told 85 driver points are the hiring line. Won't take long at 40 pts a stop to get canned.

I sure hope I don't rack up any points and gonna have to fire myself and get find a qualified cdl holder/ mechanic/ professional driver/ also a pleasant person to deal with and do business with or you can call that a truck driver.
