When you fill out your pre med form there will probably be a lot of questions tied to sleep. Just make sure you really look at the questions.

it's funny in a way. if you have followed my previous posts you know I will be leaving a position in design in order to pursue this.
the other position in my "pocket" is another design job in FL.
so much easier to get a job in design than driving....LOL
yes it helps to have many years exp in it but honestly it has never been hard to get into the design field for me. this driving thing, everytime I try to get my foot in the door someone yanks the rug out from under me.
my thought was to bail on Roehl and just go get a physical on my own and than go with Millis. I know they don't play the sleep study crap. I did like everything Roehl had to offer though, so I chose them and I think I will go forward with it and hope they stay to their word.
they really have nothing to gain by telling me I need a sleep study, as I will not be going for it. -
There are no new regs, and there never will be regs just requiring a sleep test, even the feds aren't stupid enough to try to pull that off for people that show no signs of it since most show no signs of needing one but even mentioning that was your first mistake. It makes it look like your fishing for a company that doesn't push them.
You do NOT snore!
You do NOT have issues sleeping through the night!
You wake up in the morning feeling GREAT!
hopefully you didn't shoot yourself in the foot. If you actually DO have any of those issues then get checked out on your own because sleep apnea can be a serious health issue IF you actually have it. -
the question I asked the clinic was anonymous. no name given etc.
yes I know the answers to those questions and they are true answers. -

Unfortunately for a while it was a rule. The guidelines were removed but not before a lot of sleep labs were created. A lot of unscrupulous medical clinics still try to push these guidelines today. I'm hoping at some point a lawsuit gets filed to stop this crap.
Canned Spam Thanks this. -
Or did you miss that part?Redtwin Thanks this. -
Any kind of justification for these companies and clinics bilking drivers.
