    Maverick transportation is good. Could get you home weekly if willing to do flatbed. It is a good company. Definitely better pay than 500 a week. Easy you should get 750 or better a week with them. Otherwise they do have reefer ( which they like to call temperature control) but you have to be out at least 2 weeks with that I think.

    i called mav..was cool till i told them b4 i got my cdl i was not working for 5 months .(no unemployment...sold house and moved to dennard to take care of inlaws..ahltimers and demintia) said needed one full year of employment b4 last job..i worked warehouse for 15 before that ..but that didnt count..so i dnt think theyl have me

    if you aren't afraid of actual work look into any soda or beer delivery companies, the pay is USUALLY a little below standard but it will get you home every night with your wife. Maybe something local is posted on craigslist near you? sure like others have said youll get more opportunities with 6-12 months, but you just just take a lower paying job to get that exp locally, which would end up looking a lot better on a resume if you wanted to move to a better local position than OTR.

    so local looks beter but noone local will hire ya..lol..i do hear ya tho bro..its just henderson has some issues ..i mean im a new driver but even i know if you drive 10 hrs to get somewhere and your appointment is three hrs away and you hv to take your 10 hr break your not being dispatched right..or thats how i see it...i made it but not legally...i no im new but hos to me is to get close as i can to my appnt where i can shut down take my break and still make my appnt on time...i realize stuff happns but it shouldnt every load

    Do they not have the weekly minimum pay anymore??

    henderson?..the only min pay i know of is during training...and its prorated..my frst chk was 76 bux after tax bcause they started me on sunday and pay was cut off on tuesday...but no i was never told anything about min pay when i was solo..??

    I heard they had a minimum weekly pay of $838.
