I hate to be expecting phone calls. Sorta like expecting a kid to be born. You know it's gonna happen, BUT WHEN!

There are a few large companies that will hire a person with a non-school CDL. You have to go with a trainer after the fork and knife school, but you can do this.

Having been in the same boat as you no way in hell would I go to truck driving school again. Huge waste of time and the state's money. I spent my time teaching the pre-trip while some fat waste of a human former Swift ##### raked in the coal sitting in the car feeding her face. That was at a community collage.

You have a license and experience; your application and resume should reflect that. Any job that requires and further "schooling" is not a job worth having. Don't even waste your time applying to the training companies; they pay crap and treat you like crap. They are in it to sell you "schooling" and rake in subsidies for it.

Look for a hourly job in construction, agriculture, equipment moving, oil, ect. Skip the mega-crap trucking companies.

    Dumdriver Thanks this.
