Me too! America, home of the free! Probably get a discount on insurance if they install the cameras, then the camera companies give a kickback to the insurance companies.
Many people don't have a problem with driver facing cameras or sound monitoring inside the truck; they attended the public school system and have been dumbed down so much they walk around in a daze.

LOL, we have the cameras in the new trucks but if they were listening to what we say somebody would have been fired by now.
Personally I hate them. I don't mind the idea but I rather it be used to keep my butt in the clear from liability rather than a baby sitting tool by the carrier which seems to be the most common practice with them.
But, I am saving my pennies and one day I will have that truck to call my own. -
Forward facing can be beneficial in accidents/wrecks when some clown starts whining "the truck driver did it."dennisroc Thanks this. -
Had to pull a drivers hot dog out of the fire in Florida because grand ma and grand pa decided they wanted to change lanes into the front end of a truck. Cop was ready to list him at fault and thank god that driver slammed on the brakes and left a nice trail. It was the only proof he was where we said he was and cleared em of fault. I really wish i had a dash cam that day just to save time with the lawyers.
