I live in central jersey. Is anybody can advice me for any good starting company i can join to start my career.

1099 you are a contractor. So theres no taxes (fed state local), social security, medicare etc taken out. Its not for new guys. Plus weekends could easily be only for a 34. Schnieder is supposed to be good for new guys. From what Ive heard they can put you on open ended delivery time trips for like 6 months when youre new. That would greatly reduce your stress especially when new. I think a lot of majors probably wont be hiring until the new year. Choose your first company wisely and youll have a much better chance at success in this high turnover career. Hang around and see if @Chinatown chimes in, he has a great knowledge of companies and is very helpful.

Remember having positive attitude will get you a long ways. Dont listen to the cry babies in Bad Trucking Company section. Most of trucking is what you make out of it. Usually the whiners and crybabies wouldnt be successful as Greeters at Walmart. I hear same about Schneider Bulk as 4wayflasher said.

$1200 a week for 2800 miles is pretty good for a new driver and weekends home on s dedicated run.youll have to run a lot more miles then 2800 at Schneider to gross $1200.unless Schneider will start you at 42 cents a mile and give you 2800 miles

Get started with tankers if you can. This way you will always make good paychecks which contributes to a good standard of living. Schneider Bulk is a good place to get started.
    These companies hire new grads:
    Schneider Bulk
    Superior-Carriers
    McKenzie Tank Lines
    CTL Transportation
    Tidewater Transit
    Girton Propane Service
    SVTN
    Trimac Transportation
Some may not hire in your area, but a few will. Some websites have "experience required" but that's incorrect; they all hire new grads.
