Baker huges will hire newbies. Basically anybody in Odessa midland will hire you if you breathe and have a cdl. You just have to be there and apply in person. It doesn't matter how old your license is or that you don't have experience somebody will hire you!!!

Halliburton will start you around $14 and Baker starts around $17. I know the Halliburton crews in Pampa and Liberal are busy, I don't know how much work Baker has up here. I would guess that they are busy too. PM me and when I have some more time I will get the contact numbers for you. I can tell you I made $72k my first year with Halliburton.

Is this an, I heard, or I know from personal experience? I have heard this about Halliburton. I have talked with many who tell me with a CDL and a little effort you can get on with many service companies. I sure hope so, because I am ready to work my butt off - and get paid, of course.

Are you still with Halliburton? If not, what broke the deal? I am starting school very soon and ready to "make a hand" as the old saying goes.

I'm still with Halliburton and I'm pretty happy with it. We have plenty of work and our crew is in demand. Halliburton will hire you without a CDL and put you through driving school. It's kind of a crash course though. Just enough to get your license. I think I had a total of eleven days in driving school.
