    Heh, as much as flatbedding is a way of life instead of just a job, OD loads can be too... IF you have the proper mental makeup that is. I have only run a few OD loads, all overwidth, and really easy ones at that. No escorts or special junk needed, just flags and lights (and permits too ofc.) First one I was nervous as all getout. Funny thing was the flags on the corners were wider then the load! But OD work is NOT for everyone. I'm still not sure it was even for me, to be honest. Though, I do have to say I got alot of sleep doing it. ;)

    Here's a heavy haul that sometimes hires new drivers. Don't know where all the terminals are though.

    You could look into Roehl they have a terminal in Ellenwood. I would try Melton as well.
