That's what the 155db train horn is for they get the picture :yes2557:. I still have not figured out why 4 wheelers are too stupid to drive on the shoulder when merging if there isn't a safe distance to merge but that's a different discussion. Also why I prefer to drive in a different lane if it's a 3 lane moving in one direction eliminates the problem completely. I've received the finger a few times as well when they came around me just grabbed my hammer (tire thumper) and they took off:biggrin_2559:.

I agree with this and that can get you in a pickle. That's just like they say finish your turn in the right lane what you do on a test to pass and what you do in the real world are 2 different things. IMO the CDL book is garbage for turns and the idiots that wrote it are just pencil pushing biggots that need to actually drive a truck and see what we go through. That's just like the book describing how to make a right turn when there's 2 right turn lanes hahaha give me a break take the right lane and swing wide? What am I supposed to do about the 4 wheeler that won't allow me to swing over into their lane making my turn? I've seen a couple drivers almost take out cars doing things that way or having to wait for all the 4 wheelers to turn before they could turn to avoid an accident. Call me a super trucker, call me an outlaw but when there's 2 right turn lanes I swing out into the left lane, with my trailer still blocking the right lane and make my turn. And I get the finger most of the time when I do that oh well I know I'm #1 in a lot of people's books that's the best way to look at it. As for left turns sometimes I honestly think they're worse than right turns especially in the small towns. Recall a few times turning and the trailer hanging over the front of a car and simply pulling the brake and waiting. And then the look on people's faces like "Are you going to turn?" HELLO IF YOU WANT TO KEEP THE FRONT HALF OF YOUR CAR BACK UP!!!!!!!! :biggrin_2552:

    UPDATE

I passed the physical and road test. Get this...the examiner was sleeping during my test and we only went around the block. No pre-trip. All right turns and a total of four. He took 3 out at a time. Two in the bunk and the other driving. We never got over 45 MPH and the only person that had to back up was the last one behind the wheel. We stopped the truck in the middle of the road at a stop sign when it was time to change drivers. lol.. He was literally sleeping while i was driving!! I shat you not. To his credit it was right after lunch,so his belly was full..lol.. I woke him up to inform him that i passed. lol Im not complaining but NOT what i expected.
