yea MD here. Dundalk to be specific. Curtis Bay is like 15 min away from where Im at. A short ride over Key Bridge, and bingo. Unfortunately I dont have my cdl yet. My problem is that I have 5 kids. I have all the expenses that come with them, and all the over head of running the household. Im strapped for cash and running out of opportunities to make any more. Ive even sadly enuff tried friggin Mc D's...lmao I have always wanted to drive a big rig, and figured this would be my chance. Hoped its it would. I just needed someone else topay for it since with no job, or way to pay back I cannot secure a loan to pay for private school so I figured a comp sponsored school would be the way to go. Even if my contract time sux its only a year or so. I figured I could suck up a crappy year, Ive been in prison so that has to be better than prison...lol
Dude if you have any other ideas or suggestions, Im wide open to learn brother. Thanks.

Okay you should apply at Fedex freight . They have an Driver's apprenticeship program there were they train to of course "be a driver" you'll start on the dock making 18hr until u finish and get your cdl and you'll make $22hr to start. Two terminals closest to is the Baltimore terminal off 695 exit 1 and the one out annapolis junction md which is outside of jessup.

Very nice RJ. Dude I really do appreciate the info. Im at a crossroads here man. I have 19 mth old twins. Ive seen them do everything for the first time. At the risk of sounding like a sissy...lol I really dont want to miss anything. Being gone for months at a time Id miss another one of my kids growing up. Ive missed so much already. Dont get me wrong, Im willing to make sacrifices, but I defintiely would rather stay local, get cdl, and do regional or local runs instead of otr. I honestly dunno what to do. Wifey thinks Ill love being gone and never come back...lol Sorry to Dr Phil ya, just thinking out loud. Anyway, thanks so much for the info.

Fedex freight is only local and I feel the same way about my kids. Off weekends and holidays.
