Well, my school was sponsored by a Jr. College and was 200 hrs. Look for the same and you can't go wrong.

I hate that 'miles per week' saying because its a hit or miss kind of thing. You can run your tail off one week then die of boredom. That is just trucking. However, the longest I have sat waiting for a load is 5 hrs. To date, I am avg 2012 miles per week just as a reference. The northeast consists of New York and north. Benefits are on a 6 month delay. You are assigned a truck and you may take it home. We use paper logs. Also, we use a cool system called Transflow. All of our paperwork is sent via Transflow at Pilot or Love's. We also use Trippack, but just the scaning part. We don't have to send our stuff in via UPS. Saves time and is very accurate.

    Happy to help!! :headbang:

160 is better than 100, but the longer the better. There is aLOT to learn as far as HOS, logging, etc. My instructor spent 50 hrs alone on logging and I am SO glad he did.

OMG! You're gonna run NorthEast for $.29 a mile?!?! NO, No, NO! Call USF GLen Moore and see what they'll do. (Carlisle PA and Knoxville TN) I know they train.. and certainly, they'll pay you for it and you are paid for orientation., (Talk to Johanna in recruiting. SHe used to drive and will NOT lie to you. I am assuming she is still there....at the Carlisle PA recruiting ofc.)
