    Um, both?

Seriously, you'll have to provide more information if you want any kind of useful answer. But yes, there are jobs, and yes schools are making lots of money.

First off how is your record? MVR and Criminal. Do you have any DUI's, accidents etc... Do you have a family? Can you stand being away from home for at least a month at time?

I have an idea... Why not READ some of the thousands of posts already here that have answered that question a thousand times.

No wonder the TTR needs a new server and they have no space left.

Well you sound like you are good to go credential wise. Now what are your needs or what do you expect out of it? Over the road is the greatest, worst job ever!

You are away from home for long periods of time, sometimes not even making money. It can be very stressful. You don't get a lot of sleep and your sleep schedule is never the same. It's very hard on your body, physically and mentally. Traffic, traffic and more traffic. Blah, blah, blah!

The good side is you are out on the open road all by yourself. You will get to see every single nook and cranny of all 48 states. The pay can be good if you know what you are doing and really hustle. You may end up liking it so much that you might prefer to sell your house and live out of the truck while banking all your money.

Make a list of your wants and needs and start combing through some companies. You may also want to aim toward a particular division of trucking such as flatbed, dry van, reefer, etc.... Here is a website that may help you:

    http://www.newtruckdrivingjobs.com/student_%20driving_%20job.php

I have no problem helping you but you have to promise to stay away from the mega-carriers! (ie: Swift, werner, england etc...)
Check out that website and do some thorough home work. Also if you would like to see what the inside of the big rigs look like go to the manufacturers websites such as freighliner, Kenworth, international, peterbuilt etc... They all have pictures or virtual tours of the insides. Good luck to you!
