Your putting yourself the other driver and everyone around you in danger. If you start nodding at the wheel pull it over. No load is worth it. Good luck.

Absolutely. If you start blinking, get off the road right away. You need at least two hours sleep at that point.

Trust me you will fall asleep at the wheel at some point. Anyone that's been driving 10-20-30 years has. If your lucky enough to live through it, you learn not to drive tired! Get out at a rest area and walk around do a V.I. Driving tired is as bad as being drunk at the wheel.

Benadryl (diphenhydramine) 50mg (typically 2 tabs). Its for allergies but will make you sleepy and is otc. Takes about 20min to kick in. Last 6 hrs or so.

If you can't trust your co-driver you shouldn't put your life in his hands. Find another.

The CRuSTy contract does not affect your cdl. You can leave for another company. They will, however, bill you $5,000 for their pos training and if you don't pay they will turn it over to a collections vulture.

That's true. My worst experience was pulling flatbed; left Nashville, TN and fell asleep in Arkansas and woke up in Amarillo, TX.

I take it 5 minutes before I want to sleep. It works pretty quickly. My wife will take sometimes a tablet and a half.
