New Driver needs help..Is Winter really that bad?

    With all these newbies focusing on winter, it amazes me that they just don't get this - driving a truck safely isn't about just taking it seriously in the winter but all year round. It doesn't matter what time of year it is, this is dangerous work and you need to make decisions the same in the rain as in snow.

    yep winds in the midwest can get pretty bad....

    I have been in rain where I couldnt even see the road so its just as bad as a white out

    Some people think it's like that up here every single day for 9 months, sometimes I think they're not too far from the truth lol.

    i have traveled WA area quite a few times, worst rains I have hit I still say would be Nebraska area
