1. Attention employers: We now require a valid DOT# for anyone wishing to post a driving position. If your job offer doesn't contain a DOT number, it will not get past moderation and will not appear in the forum. The other requirements in the sticky at the top of this section are still required as well. Thank you for understanding.

Right, Craigslist and Facebook both have trucker pages and are a good source for 2nd chance companies.

Well......did you run from the police? Did you drive recklessly?

Common misconception. *Some* companies are begging for drivers, but they aren't the kind of place anyone wants to work, therefore they have to beg people to come work for them. Places like mine have no problem fully vetting everyone interested... I currently just got a truck back from the body shop (flip-flop express turned too short while our driver was on a dock and his hood was taken off) so I have a new driver in the queue that has been notified he was selected and will be flying here in a week. Beyond that? Nope, no begging here... I am currently turning away 20-30 applicants for every one I select.

Well, not to "judge a book by it's cover", but, man, you just insulted a guy who's opinion you didn't like. So, you have a record for reckless driving, you have a whole run-on line of excuses for EVERYTHING all prepared, and you can't accept criticism. I think if you want to find where the problem is here, you need to look into a mirror. I can safely guarantee that nobody will let you drive their trucks. I'd suggest looking for work in the construction industry.
