Hello to all experienced truck drivers,
My brother in law recently obtained his CDL. He is in need of a job. He had a Class C suspension on his DL a little over two years ago from another state. He now has a CDL issued in Texas. Can you recommend any companies that may give him a chance? Also when they pull his Texas CDL records will the out of state suspension come up from two years ago? Thanks you guys in advance for all your help.

What was the suspension for? Very important question.

I do believe anything from his former state will carry over, and drop off his immediate record at the appropriate time, but remain on his life long record?

A failure to pay or appear should not limit his chances of finding a job. You can not move if you have any kind of driving under the influence. Failure to pay no big deal. What will limit his chances is having no experience driving truck good companys will not insure a driver with no experience. I did not work at CR England for a year and a half because i liked starving i did it for seat time.
