Yes, I have been able to find some Fontaine trailers around the country. I can get a new 48ft Dorsey for $47,950. Ive searched the forum some and can’t seem to find much opinions on them. Anyone here have any input on them?

    cke Thanks this.

Good luck. It's a very tough market these days. I bought my new one last year and I'm glad I did. I thought I overpaid then......can't imagine buying now.

    cke and Tonytruck98 Thank this.

Well, I just looked at trailers on truckpaper.com. screw that noise. Now I just feel bad for you. I paid $50k out the door for my decked out Mac last year. Now they are asking $55k and up for road warriors. Wow.

Well, after getting turned down on about every used trailer I’ve called on, I decided to bite the bullet and put a deposit down on a new 48ft Mac. It’s loaded at $59,900. I suppose I can justify it by the good resale value. It should be in late February. 52K beam. Now its tarps, chains and chain ratchets. Hope there’s a Black Friday sale for some of that somewhere online. I really appreciate everyone’s help and if you can think of some other things a new guy will need I’d appreciate any and all advice. Thanks!!

You could not get a better all around flatbed trailer. A lot of money but its the best flatbed made.
