He will be along probably at some point today, he's quite active around here. You've already given nearest big city and are upfront about felony/probation. You may want to state any restrictions of probation, do you have to check in daily, or not leave the state, be home by dark, etc. Because in trucking the hours are long and you won't be guaranteed to be home by a certain time.
He seems to know practically every company in the country so you should be alright. -
Yes I’m allowed to leave the state
Bumper Thanks this. -
Yes I have no restrictions I can leave the state , I’m actually on deferred probation not regular probation , I could be off early & once I complete it won’t be on my record, my probation officer literally suggested I get my cdl lol
BillyBobFrank, Bumper and gokiddogo Thank this. -
Ok only other thing might be do you want to do long haul or regional or city? How long do you care to be away from home? Some drivers stay out for weeks or even months. Some practically live in the truck and bank a small fortune, so long as they don't spend too much in the truck stop (everything is way overpriced)

Being honest with you , as long as I’m home once or twice a month I’m good, trying to get my life back in order plus I need experience I can’t really be too picky right now & I understand that being new in this field

Otr or local is cool doesn’t matter I want to stay away from the east coast I heard bad things but I’m also open for that experience also
