PTL has recently stepped up it's training and safety areas. I have noticed that as new drivers come there only about 40% or less complete the training because they hate training and safety. PTL has also been terminating a lot of experienced drivers for doing things like no seat belt and running with mechanical issues. If you have been keeping track their CSA scores are dropping from a high of 96. Keep an eye on them.

Not sure where that info comes from.
Their scores are worse than just 1 year ago !!

Just remember the CSA is a 24-month rolling calendar so it will take some time for changes to appear. FMCSA knows that and gives the company a chance to sort its own stuff out. But they watch. OH, do they watch. And so do state law enforcement agencies.

If you come there with someone else will they let you do your 40,000 together or no?

Don't see why not

Does PTL have terminals in the Philadelphia area? What's their road test like and how many miles you need to go solo? Anyone??
-
Their web site shows they have a terminal in Philly for city drivers. Nearest drop lots in Harrisburg, Newark, and Baltimore.
I'd imagine if the "city" terminal in Philly is big enough, they should let you park there on home time. Call and ask.johnweigel Thanks this.
