First day so far has been filling out tax paperwork, paper application, and doing physicals. Showing me just how out of shape I am. Will definitely be adding a exercise routine to my schedule once I get on the road. Heck probably start a little something while still in my hotel...

Ok, so I ran into problems on the road test. Basically, I suck at shifting a new, tight transmission. The tester recommended I spend time with a trainer and retest in a few weeks whenever he says I'm ready. I'll have to find out tomorrow exactly how this will work out as far as pay and such goes. Will I be making a livable wage during this time? Etc etc. I'm fairly bummed about this development.:biggrin_25513: I'd always been good driving and shifting the trucks at school, but they had considerably more miles than the 1 yr old rig I drove today.

No orientation pay. Pay during training should be on the website, I think. Miles can vary.

So, I'll be heading out with my trainer tomorrow most likely. Looking forward to getting on the road, hoping to get home at lest a couple days a month, so we'll see how it all works out.
