I'm not sure how much they expect to bill me for. I've been here 2 weeks, gotten 1 check. They paid for a hotel room 1 night, a drug test, and about $280 for my first check.

As fate would have it, we are actually going to be within about 4 miles of where I live, tomorrow. I'm very seriously considering getting off the truck at the exit closest my house then going home and just start a new job search. I just didn't want to make it where no one would hire me if I didn't complete the training.

    #### that's a dirty way of cheating unsuspecting drivers! But the truth is so many other bottom feeder starting companies are that way as well.

    I agree 100%.
Those companies names I gave him aren't that way and have good reputations with drivers including the new cdl grads they hire.

    redoctober83 Thanks this.

That's good, I know I see you post a lot of good info on here and seem to know a company just about anywhere for a driver to go to. You use to recommend prime awhile back but I've noticed you stopped. Do you mind telling me why? I al know a lot of other members on here refer questions like these to you which speaks highly of you and your info.

Was just starting to look at them. Abilene shows they require one year. Is that correct?

All those companies hire new cdl grads. Freymiller shows 6 mos. exp. required but that's incorrect also. Same for Magnum Ltd.

    MrNWilson Thanks this.

Thank you for your help. Like I said, I may just pack in the morning and get off the truck as we pass by on I-75. I hate to do it like that but they are going to charge me more if I stay longer anyway. No reason to prolong the inevitable.
