@fuelofire as far as me asking about NH it was where i was born and a couple of compaines said they hire out of there why do i feel that id'e be running to mass anyways. yea fuel you don't have to remind me of how califorina sucks lol. might do AZ OR NM been hearing theres lots of freight out west how true it is i don't know well hell theres prob more comming from out west than the east but who knows. i was gonna go with prime i do have a pet and there no pet policy that idea would not work i was gonna go with swift but they told me they also have a no pet policy so i asked why in the hell do i see all these trucks with dogs sticking there heads out the window lol they shut up after that one lol

Your more then welcome to ask all the questions your heart desires. And perhaps I mis-understood your original post. After all, I'm not perfect... I'm just a truck driver.
I personally believe that an APU at this time should be the least of your worries. Sure, there are states that have idle laws. New Jersey, New York, California, Dallas, TX has their own laws, etc etc etc. But they are rarely enforced. At least from what I've seen! If I'm hot, I idle. If I'm cold, I idle. I have idled many times in those areas that have laws restricting it. Never been bothered in the several years I've been doing this. Sure, I hear about the laws being enforced. I guess the officers decide to go to sleep when I'm in the area, but I personally believe that the people telling the stories about the enforcment are doing just that.... Telling Stories!

And that would be a truckers story. It didn't happen! Like I said, don't believe everything you hear & only believe about 10% of what you see.

very true REDD but he did tell the officer he would be sleeping in his car while the officer slept in the truck i guess a nice way of saying goto hell LOL so how long have you been trucking?? i can't wait to get out there.
