    Read my above post..
In these times and tight hiring requirments and owner opps turning in trucks by the thousands daily (check the repo lots) and going company the market is getting flooded with experienced drivers

An outside school limits you to prehires and no guarantee....

Companies are dropping recruiting staffs by half
Why? The driver market is flooded with quality drivers...

Sound advise in bad times secure a soot over going the prehire route ...

    My thoughts...

Really sound advice - Choose another career . A very small percentage will luck out and get a job they can tolerate . The majority won't find work or will be very dissatisfied with what they get and not stay with it .

    Whatever then right a check.
You will be wishing u didn't
If most won't tolerate the industry , then ??
The advise for someone who made the choice not trying to persuade anyone

But by all means ... Spend your savings, get a loan, then have no guarantee of a job

Better yet go to vegas on the $5.00 slot just as good of chance ...

    Never the less good luck

But I would think twice before if it was me worst case if you go to a carrier school and you don't stay your credit is shot who's ain't right now no one can get money now unless you have a 720 plus credit score
Mine is 689 which used to be good but not now

Point is don't use your money unless u have a 100% sure thing

    Good luck

Haven't you read all the posts by members that are being billed by carriers after not completing the one year obligation ? Leaving may not be the driver's choice . Taking company training offers no security at all . They can still find reason to terminate you .

I would magine driver training at $6000 a wack is a pretty good source of income for trucking companies even if they pay you back over a certain amount of time I'm sure they earned interest on that money somehow.

    I have ,
But you have to consider, the ethics behind it I give you that. But u in some not all cases have to consider the driver and what he/she did or isn't doing ..

I will fold on this topic

I agree to disagree on this one

    No qual
