New drivers to run under our authority

    hello just need a little help trying to set up two drivers to haul loads under our DOT but we are lost as we are new at hiring drivers and setting them up in Texas, can someone tell me what forms are needed to get them filled out to start? Thank you

    See I would like to help but if you don't have a clue on what to do, how did you get an authority in the first place?

    You should go to OOIDA, join and talk to the people there to get the right advice.

    The other thing is if these are drivers in YOUR trucks, then pay them as EMPLOYEES, DO NOT screw them over by paying them as independent contractors because if you do, take serious steps to learn how to treat an IC and have a lawyer involved to set everything up.
