Hello all. Should be studying pretrip right now. Testing tomorrow.

Have always been drawn to trucks. Am finally in a position to do this. Now we'll see if it really is for me.

Am leaning toward a smaller outfit hauling steel. Have 4 prehires out of school (roadmaster). Leaving Swift as the fallback #4 choice. They say they will honor the prehire.

You dont unload all the time do you American Trucker? Do you pull a reefer or drybox only? Looks like a drybox there in your pic. I imagine a 13'6" drybox?

we unload 60% of the time (only the LTL Furniture Loads). We pull dry vans but do have a few Reefers too. We also have a Flat Bed Devision.

Thats cool. WS seems like a pretty solid company. I had to help unload some unpalletized pine trees at a costco once, had a rash for a week. Once in a great while I haul a nursury load out of washington or oregon, the one in oregon makes a rainforest inside my reefer with plastic and 2x4's. What a mess. lol

####, squeeked by my backing skills and readily passed the road test and pretrip. 2 interviews on Monday. We'll see whats what. Oh yeah, in the meantime I need to take and pass the written hazmat. Already set with HS/TSA.
