I believe it say's 20 years. Don't be a suck### just because you got put in your place on the last thread. This is a totally different disagreement here.

Well, you make a lot of good points. I looked on ripoffreports about Drivers Solutions and it's a little scary. If, for whatever reason, you get sent home before you test, you still get stuck with the tuition. I know, that's what everyone was trying to tell me. It just took a while to sink in. Maybe I will just study the manual and rent a truck and try to get it on my own. I can already drive and double clutch and all, I just need practice backing up. Thanks for the advice and the realistic view of trucking. I still want to do it, though, somehow.

I am looking at going to Tri State Truck school in Middletown OH has anyone ever been to there course ?
-
how hard is it to shift at night in the dark ?
-
shifting will be the same in the day or night because when you shift you should be looking at the road and not at the shifter
-
so once I learn to shift it will be easy right ?
-
reasonably so. -
"the manual transmission part is not problem, in fact, you will be easier to teach since you have no bad habits..........." - Rerun8963
So true, I had my license when I was 16, learned to drive a standard when I was 18, then I have worked for UPS driving a brown package car for almost 7 years after that... Pick up all kind of bad habit and driving the UPS truck, in a snow, at times I drift it and drive it like a rally car at times...
The double clutch in a tractor absolutely kill me and break me down in the first week of my training... Now I am double clutching my Honda Prelude... Wish me good luck next Tuesday, my supervisor will be testing me, if I pass I will have my license as a tractor driver and open a new page to my career!
