    If I changed states, and newly issued DL from state I’m in now, will the history be sufficient or do I need to also pull from prior state.

    For a 100 percent answer you'd be better off asking the inspector that sent you the correspondence but I'd say it'll be fine. No need to overthink it. Having your own authority is a lot of work. Make it as simple as possible to manage.
