Get quality steel toed boots! You will be in them for hours and hours, it is the most important thing you can get. Do not go cheap. I have timberland pros that are excellent, wolverines I guess are good too. If you really want to do it right get some redwings custom made.

Thanks for the info, this is a great thread!

If you're still trying to get on with tmctrans or Melton tmctrans provides everything but gloves and clothes. I never worried about having steeltoed boots just make sure they're not hard soled. Makes for better footing when climbing on loads. Another thing to keep in mind is this is a truck its limited space. You can't fit your whole house in there.

If you can't just get one with your house on it..

toilet paper, hand cleaner, towels, paper towels
random felt you pick up in steel mills, roll of duct tape, mini sledge, small bucket, walmart style ratchet straps, quick strap winder, basic hand tools(yes even for company driver), rubber mats, carpet, try and find an old piece of tarp(half or third of old lumber tarp works great
finally, always keep a few gallon jugs of water with you( i generally drink one a day, during summer sometimes 1.5-2), broom and tuffstuff to keep truck clean inside -
personally i dont care for that style. now a 379 with a 54in sleeper thats a different story. just seems like thats a whole lot of weight i cant pull now and forget turning, hello 268 point turn. lol

Those are either show trucks or the A & D (Ammo & Demo) teams will use them, since they can't leave loads unattended. I wouldn't want one, but some of them sure are pretty. The best I would love to have is a 379 or 389, with a Platinum sleeper.
