Hey, new here from MD. I was driving a 26' Freightshaker w/air brakes for Value Chitty Furniture for 4 years. Driving and delivering with a helper. They paid good $19.57 but you can only do that crap for so long. I had my Class A permit w/d&t but let that expire cause I was making good $$ and didn't need to leave. Not there anymore and am trying to get a job with the power company, I need to pass a FCC Grol test this is the 2nd time taking it. If I don't pass I want to get my Class A license w/d&t and find a job driving a dump truck around here and maybe buying my own one day. I know I don't need a "A" license to drive a dump truck, but the more you have the more your worth. Plus why pay all that money to get a B when you can spend a little more and get the A?

Hey Skidmore, welcome to the forum. I hope the power company or dump truck jobs work out for you, local driving jobs are highly coveted around here.
