And to the OP, there are home-daily jobs out there. UPS in Parsippany is currently hiring temporary seasonal tractor trailer drivers, and pretty much all the LTL companies have facilities in Morris County - XPO is in Ledgewood, Estes and ABF in Pine Brook, FedEx Freight in Rockaway, among others. And if you travel a little further east, there's plenty more opportunities around Secaucus/Newark/Carlstadt.

 

give car hauling a shot. cassens transport or united road run out of port newark. both hire grads and train to haul cars. more money then van flat or reefer and can be home daily running jersey and ny

 

He can haul new EV imports from China to the dealerships....lol

 

At UPS, healthcare insurance if free for the driver and family.

 

Some do, if your CDL school is on their list of approved training programs. That's how I got started. Have you asked your school for job placement help, or what companies hire their graduates?
