We do get 100% of collected fuel surcharge - and if what the customer pays is less than the set per-mile rate for the week, we get that minimum rate.

All this is, is the contractual formula that calculates what the MINIMUM revenue guarantee is... and you only can possibly hit it during bad times like the end of '08.

Maybe you ought to find out what you're talking about before you put your foot into your mouth.

It has everything to do with you don't have a clue about what is in our lease contract, and the clause that Sazook is referring to.

    Let me explain:

"Reefer and Flatbed $1.02/mi, Tanker $1.15/mi over 100,000 miles like the old .95/mi guarantee. The major difference is with the fuel surcharge, now instead of getting 100% of fuel that the customer pays, you will now only get the guaranteed fuel surcharge. If the customer pays more than the guarantee the excess is put back into the linehaul at the 72/28 split. So if a customer was currently paying .50/mi in fuel you'd get the 41.5/mi that is guaranteed, and the excess 8.5 cents would go back into the linehaul 2.4 cents would be kept by Prime and you would get 6.1 cents of it."

i don't know about your fantasy land, but here in reality thats called SKIMMING your profit!
