not to professionals...i have seen some noobs out there that think fast is better than safe...hopefully they won't last long

 

First off their not making a show that would be unsafe. I myself am a professional driver.I work very hard in a safe and professional manner. And I do my job as FAST as possible because I get paid by the load not by the hour. I do it safely my driving record and dac. Shows that. We as drivers need to show America that we are respectful and professional men and women that spends time away from our families getting all the things they want and need. And I believe that payload is trying to make a show to gain us respect. Good luck to all the professional drivers that applied to the show.

Heeey wait a minute? Why hasn't anyone done a sitcom about trucking?

 

About 90% of the container drivers I see.

 

I could be wrong but a driver is a driver. No matter what they drive, pull, or haul. Are they professional driver well thats a whole new question. I can remember when a driver to pride in what they did. Where has the pride gone in trucking????

 

I believe things began to change when so many came into the business from other industries as a means to earn a living while their "real career" recovered, such as IT. The CDL mills have also had a negative effect on driver's attitude. Over regulation by the government has also had a very negative impact on the industry.
