Sound very interesting but one question, the people who set this up are truckers and know a little about it or is this just out of the hat?

Another question is flatbed, van, stepdeck, etc What type of trailer? And are you looking for company drivers, Owner/Operators??? Im guessing van and who's supplying that?
-
-
We're honestly looking for all sorts of drivers. Anyone with THEIR OWN RIG, who hauls gear, is who we want. As long as you're a "Trucker" you qualify. And ,most certainly, actually truckers will be involved as "experts" who will advise on the show. We're not just flying blind

You do best to do the show on all flatbeds and other platform equipment so the viewers can actually see the work that goes into load securement. Oversized would play a big role as well in a "race" as to how long it would take drivers to get permits.
Would be cool to see it in like an amazing race format with special challenges and "roadblocks". If you get agents or brokers involved in a team format where they must work together, let me know. -
Thanks for the info. It's much appreciated. I'll certainly pass it along.

i dont think that fair on us vans trl , pror too that statement,on that flatbed , i hauled reifer , and the smooth alum floor en ice do not mix along with crappy wood slate boxes and you got a load thats so fragil, you breath wroung in a corner and over you go, also did van trl reg were i hauled upright big 3 feet across by 6 feet high paper rolls , yes talk about a heavy load and anthor tip over easy load , or how about a load of ink, ya i handle a few tricky loads and my company always put me on those loads , why i dont know

Well, I'm semi-retired, could use some extra money, am available, and most of all, 100% legal to drive. Rent me a truck and I'll be there if the price is right.
sdaniel Thanks this. -
yes rent a rig and gig and ill drive it anywear
sundance31210 Thanks this. -
Limiting to owner operators really cuts down the field. No way company drivers can participate. No company will free their truck.
The contest would be more fair if you did rent identical trucks. A rental company might even sponsor some trucks. It would open up the contestant list. After all, a good driver can drive anything. One OO might have 100 more HP and 9 more gears. That wouldn't be fair to the next guy.
Too bad I can't participate. I'd burn them all up!
