Don't forget to cover the top to keep hawks out. My dad would always set 1"×6" planks around the bottom to keep critters out also.
Did you ever think about rabbits. Got a guy not far from me that raises them and he says that is all he will eat now.

I have thought about rabbits, tow, and their poop comes in nuggets that aren't all sticky and wet. But they don't lay eggs and not sure I'd ever eat one after I killed it. Now, a chicken? I might even eat a chicken that I named, especially if I had a few of them. (More than the 3 I have now.) Rabbit is healthier...

I'm also a deer sympathizer, tow.

The woods are just clearing out enough to start seeing them. All I hear is a snort usually. One actually ran right in front of us (the two dogs and me) from the highway, past us and into the woods. Dogs knew I wouldn't approve chasing and stood their ground but stewed about it. Err-err-err!

Nobody hunts my land. (Only 4 acres, little less. But no neighbors within site, an entire Section above me owned by Pike Lumber will never be divided and my mechanic's 32 acres behind and below. Pike can't get to their property on this side 'cuz I don't let them cross mine.)

tow, we're hijacking this thread. To make up, give up some good company names for Boo.

(I'll hold my nose or cover my ears, not sure which.)

Boo, tow works for Gordon, a very experienced long-haul driver. My thread is very critical of Gordon for peewee pay and short runs but Gordon's a great learning environment, IMO. Especially if you can get with a Gordon 5-year trainer. tow used to stalk my thread and try get under my skin. So we have some history and some private humor. One of his friends here is a Gordon touter who sees me as an adversary.

That's silly. But Gordon could work for you. To acquire skills in your first year and a safe place to learn, park your CDL. Then move on.

    Has a terminal in PHX.

There, tow. I said it. Satisfied? (Cough! Cough!)
