    Hello all! first of all, I would just like to thank everyone that contributes to this forum. There is a ton of useful information that I have found over the last month. I just got my cdl last week and I'm ready for a career change. I have been doing my own research on trucking companies versus just jumping on with one of the many recruiters that came into the school.

    It seems like every job board website is filled with Heartland Express and Swift jobs for the first nine pages. It makes it hard to find the rest of the job postings. I am looking forward to running into some of you guys out there on the open road.

    He graduated from cdl school a week ago so he's been doing research.
    We don't know if he wants OTR or not or if he has endorsements.
    Southern California; Dynamic Transit hires new cdl school grads there and plenty others.

    I am going over the road for sure. I have my hazmat, tankers, doubles and triples. Almost everyone I went to school with went to Werner and Eagle KMC. I am leaning towards Jim Palmer in Fontana.

    Welcome aboard rookie, you'll have to pay your dues any way you look at it for the good gigs to open up. On another note the good gigs don't advertise every day some don't even hire guys for several years, so don't get caught up on just what's posted.
