Congrats on earning your CDL. What's next and where?

You know, I honestly dont know.
I was thinking perhaps Werner just to get my feet wet (in spite of all the bad stories I have heard.)
If I do Werner (or they do me, lol, however you look at it) I will probably start a thread about it to keep everyone posted and all the good/bad things that happen. A documentary so to speak. -
The way everyone else posts, it seems like a crapshoot when picking a company. Keep us posted as to your progress. I always enjoy reading that stuff!

Will do, sir.
Thanks! -
Hey Gears!
I got a question for you!
We trained on the same truck that you have and I have always wanted to know what the black, blank circle piece of plastic is on your dash. Its just to the right of the Primary and Secondary air gauges.
I figured it could be one of a couple things:
An option that was not featured on that particular model (Similar to the gap left when a 2 wd truck is not outfitted with a transfer case- usually a spot to store additional items)
My other idea was that it was a spot for you to mount a GPS system.
Thanks in advance! -
Could be a for a number of things. I've got got Eaton Fuller Autoshift and the gear indicator is over there as well as the shift pod.
I've also got Eaton VORAD on there as well. Overall, it's a pretty busy dash.
Here's a photo I took not long after I got the truck.
