    New wannabe truck driver here from El Paso TX . Just finished school and got my cdl license last week . The reason I decided to get my cdl was to get into the oil field. Not sure if I should first get some otr experience first since there are some companies that are hiring recent grads. The pay is awful though, like .17 cents a mile :biggrin_25518:

    I am new also had my license for two years but have not driven this my first post. I am going to try Schneider. Since I live just outside of houston
