None of my questions had anything to do with my "MEMBER".. I simply asked how the DOT goes and how the shower situtation work.. The sleeper situation is I don't want to swap beds with some stranger for a month or however long.. If I wanted to feel like I was in prison I could easily sale a bunch of dope and take my chances..
If you don't have any thing productive to add to the thread you don't have to respond..
I'm just doing my research and want to know what to expect once on the road..

My community college truck driving course was 6 hours per day for 10 weeks. I got 1000+ hours on the road, plus superior backing training, test prep, lots of information and veteran truckers as instructors. We also drove about 10 different types of trucks, from daycabs to automatics, and Volvos, and Peterbuilts etc. The school helped me to get a job, and I did not even have to contact one of those "training" truck companies. They had contacts with several companies and which gave their students an edge. It cost $900.00 for the tuition, and about $80.00 for the books and gear. Check with a community college in your area and see if they have a truck driving program. That way you do not need to be anyone's "slave." (Actually people come from all over to go to the school. We had people from Washington State, and Wyoming too. It is Southeast Community College, in Lincoln, NE. They have an awesome Program. )
