I’m just getting into the business. I’m going to buy a 1-ton pick-up and 3 car wedge. I will be starting off without a CDL but I am planning to have it within a year. Planning on using to load boards to find loads. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
New here, looking for advice.

That sector of carhaul is flooded with new immigrants working for foreign National investors who'll buythe first equipment they could find and throw these poor guys in it. It's a mess and as somebody else pointed out the insurance rates are reflecting that. It's so shady that some of the trucks we see on a regular basis will have a different name and Dot number on them every time we see them

Have you checked and monitored the load boards you intend to use to gauge if you will be profitable? Also, cold call some brokers and see if they will even use you.
