Hey, hows everyone doin today!?
I just joined the forum in hopes of learning more about operating a trucking bussiness more efficentily.
Im 19 years old and my dad owns his own bussiness. We run 2 tractors with dry van trailers, and my dad being one of the drivers. I recently started doing dispatch and handling about everything else, with help from my dad. Before I started, my brother in law was doin it all, but my dad wasnt happy with his performance.
I would like to know what load boards you guys use. I use 3, Getloaded, Internetruckstop and Express.Transcore.
Any software that I can use to manage everything easier? Payroll with miles, Money, Bills?
Any tips on making the best money?
My dad likes midwest and going down south mostly.
My thing is not being able to find return loads, so therefore how can I find Lanes or contracts with for sure return loads, or something like that. Maybe 3-4 loads and send him home?
Again, im just looking for info, any info is appreciated!
