For those who are following this thread. Here is the section in the 30 min. Break. Also dot has added a CSA weight penalty to it as well. 7 points against Driver and carrier .

"
ii) Rest breaks. After June 30, 2013, driving is not permitted if more than 8 hours have passed since the end of the driver's last off-duty or sleeper-berth period of at least 30 minutes."

 

Word is. Idaho,Oregon and Washington are doing a rolling blitz to check drivers. Like the fun we had back in June. So make sure you have the 30 min. Flagged on every log sheet that has 8 hours or more. Be careful drivers. A typo can get ya on that log book if your not running electronic logs. Even watch that device make sure its correct.
