How much experience exactly do you have? I'm a little confused by the 12-18 months experience in 3 years. Also what is your ultimate goal in trucking? My curiosity looms.....

    TripleSix and Chinatown Thank this.

Forgot this: Submit the applications from each website before any phone calls. This is important.
Then you can call and say, "I'm checking on my driving job application."

I’m hoping to avoid refresher programs, if I’m being completely honest. It’s something not out of the question, though. Thanks
Thanks for all the leads! I have homework to start! Just curious, why do you say to apply before calling?

So I started in 2016, drove for a few companies thru 2020, took about a year off, then signed on as owner op and that’s when the trouble started. Breaking it down, with 2 separate one year hiatuses, over the last 5 years i have about 3 years verifiable. Long term, I want to own a truck that I can be proud of and not get screwed into a bad deal, but I don’t want to have to work like a dog and see my family for 34 hours every 3 months.

Apply first gives an indication that you're sincere.
A cold call without an application already on file, it's easy to make mistakes and give information that isn't requested. Submit the application first.
Call and say, "I'm checking on my job application."

Part of my problem with the experience is I can’t remember dates. I’m waiting on my DAC report for that.

As much as I'd like to bring you on to see if we can get you on at Climate, I'm not too sure if we'll fit your needs completely since we travel all over pretty much. We are full blown OTR. They'd require you to do a minimum 2 weeks out, but if you're still interested we can talk through private message, and go from there. I'm open to some convo. I think you need to look at these guys first since they're full regional and you have 3 years experience total.
