Moving the dolly by hand becomes almost impossible when there is snow or ice on the ground.
I recall a winter night at Mendota, IL where I was pulling a pup and articulator to the Boelk Trucking terminal. I was stopped by a large snow drift across the two-lane rural road. Because I could not back up with the articulator, I had to shovel my way through the drift.
