New KW T680 introduced

Hopefully the wipers will work. Of you drive a T-700 or a newer T-2000 you'd know what I'm talking about....

 

If they have an EGR/DPF/SCR on them....The Owners will be screwed....Oh wait....Too late....

 

It will be interesting to see how this truck does on fuel, I have talked to a few that the MX is getting 8+mpg in a truck like the t660 or Pete 386. I would think this design is even better, since that is what is driving the styling on these trucks.

 

Depending on how that MX is set up. I barely get over 6.5-7. It's not mine. I didn't set it up, but it's a small engine. It's really gotta work.

Everyone knows TransAm ownership has a vested interest in MHC Kenworth so big suprise there...however, the T660 is proven and thats a bunch of their fleet...so maybe they are onto something there...i personally think the 680 looks good and if it perfoms like the kw website is talking about..well i dont see any reason TransAm shouldnt pull tbe trigger

 

I have seen the first one on the road Thursday on I94 East Michigan. It was ugly dark blue, but the truck itself beautiful. Sorry, no picture, because I was driving west, there was no time.... I am surprised no picture at all on the net, other than the show trucks. Com' on guys!

 

I saw a red T-680 in the showroom at the local dealer. Heavily disappointed by the quality of the paint. There were runs everywhere, especially at the back of the sleeper. There was also spots where the paint was peeling. It just looked like crap! I should take pictures next time.
