Howdy from the big city of Dayton Texas. New to the forum but over 20 years driving. I was an owner operator for many years but in 2007 sold truck and trlr and decided to get off the road for a while. Of course any of you that have tried that know it didn't last long so i am back working for Taylor Truck line out of Northfield Mn which has turned out to be a great company and unless something drastic happens I have no plans of leaving . I have been here a year and a half now and other than missing running the northwest its been a nice change of pace for me. Of course you know i miss running the n.e. states too {NOT). We run mainly midwest and southeast which can be a bit boring at times but considering some of the alternatives it isnt so bad. I never wanted to have qualcom or e-logs but find i am actually loving it all. I never was real good about getting my logs done when i should have then trying to remember where i was a week ago. It is a new concept for me this running legal but I sure get a lot more sleep than i used to lol. I used to run team with my ex husband and it took a while to get used to sleeping while the truck was actually stopped. Dont figure i will have to worry about that again, think i am too old and set in my ways for anyone to put up with me now. Ok i have written enough of a book se eyou on the forums and happy trails.
