New Loves

Loves announced theyre building nearly 50 locations a year for the next 3-4yrs

Well you go to say Hutchinson Kansas, they just built one about a year ago there ,and it's right across the highway to the north of a little place that's got about twice the parking of their brand new Loves and they've actually got a sit down restaurant in the old place. I wonder how much of loves stock is actually owned by swift or somebody or a group of the megas.

 

Well for one..you're wrong on your theory...

 

Which theory would that be? I've been to one loves that had a decent parking lot, that was the one just north of OKC a little ways. I'd like them better if they'd put a decent little restaurant in them and a little more room to back into their parking spots.

 

I have no sympathy for the little truck stop in Hutch. They survived simply by being the only game in town. Their showers are barely big enough to turn around in and you have to poop in the bathroom across the hall. And their restaurant was “closed for renovations” for well over a year leaving you to the mercy of their hot case pizza.

 

I like that fried corn in the cob

 

That will be another option to park. I always go to Wytheville or Fort Chiswell when traveling south.. I stop to get fuel at the Kangaroo, not a whole lot of parking, but it will be the last to fill up because everyone else will hit the Flying J first.

 

Another new one opening near Fort Collins. Definitely need more parking near Denver.

 

I am not in love with them, but they have what I need. A place to park then shower before starting my 14.
