I found that pic on the interweb...it's all yours. What company were you with? A guy used to have a few Superliner dumps and tractors back in the old neighborhood.

I saw a thread where a guy posted a picture of a working pay phone. Cannot remember who or where but I'm not sure I'd want to put it on my ear without a delousing!!!x1Heavy Thanks this.

Not this superliner, he is literally a one man owner of a farm with a range of equiptment from a few Dumps, tractors, hay mows etc all the way down to the humble log splitter. Making employment for around 3 people most days paving new driveways for people. Among other things.
Of all the trucking I ever did, I keep coming back to this one because we get out of the house to git to *&%%$ work now at sunrise and kept going until we could not see at night. Sometimes draining the fuel out of that side tank of the superliner to keep that paver going....BigBob410 Thanks this. -
ya know... we had a pay phone in a steel mill, 5 of us lined up in the broiling sun yelling at dispatch. Or being yelled at. 1,2,3,and my turn. yelling because the #### thing isnt working right and filled with static..
Catch this... there was number 5 who politely asked for a moment to each of us, 1, 2, 3, and me we each gave him a hard glance and was driven by the NEED to call dispatcher NOW... like a child fixing to go potty and if it's not at potty right quick....
Number 5 was the actual phone repairman with the right parts in hand patiently waiting through about 2 hours of yelling from us 4 before proceeding to fix the phone I slammed on in his presence.
There is another south of Allentown. In what passes for a truckstop. One one around for 20 freaking miles on that 4 lane road.
It's a private company they say 800 calls disallowed. Money please.
I spent hours arguing with that operator over that problem. Operator was more than happy to accomodate me. and god knows how many other drivers each day from that little booth whent hey discover 800 number no worky.BigBob410 Thanks this. -
Got it. A guy used to run out of Rockville crushed stoned off Travilah Rd. Way back when had a few Superliner dumps and tractors. Man those were sharp rides! I love that grille!Trucker61016 and x1Heavy Thank this.

I had a oppertunity to get into stone at Hahn in NM, but was gently patted on head and said I needed some time yet. Like you pat a 10 year old who wants to drive the truck now.
One of them got flipped on the ramp spilling his stones between 270 and 355? You remember that ramp that comes around sharp for SB 270?BigBob410 Thanks this. -

I rather the swing cabinets panels did not have handles on the bottom, rather flip em so that the handles are on the top. with a external latch to ensure that if you slam a bad bridge or buck across a problem all the stuff you carefully put away wont scatter all over your heads up front.
I would prefer a bit of a lower ceiling in the cab front forming a storage cubby half way to the sleeper area. That would be more storage room I imagine. Does that make sense?
