    Why do you say that?

Not hard at all if you know where to buy one.

I can only wonder what the price tag of that radio will be?

Where's the frequency counter? And look, it has the RFX75 which few peeps on here say that the RFX75 ain't worth &%$# !!! If the RFX75 is on that radio that's means IT WORKS !!! I wouldn't purchase that radio anyway's....... No frequency counter, how are suppose to know what frequency your on ? I know what your thinking, "go buy one". Well, if im gonna put out the dough for a radio like that, it better have a frequency counter in it.

Without SSB it is USELESS .......

" The Magnum Raptor is designed for entry level amateur use. If the transmitter is operated in the United
States or within it's territories a licensed amateur radio operator must be present at the station. The minimum license
class to operate 10-meter phone is Novice/Technician "

AM or FM is not legal for Novice ot Tech class ....

It has no tone and dosn't seem to have offset

It is strictly a EXPORT radio ....

How come they can't get the RFX to work on their radio as well as it works ont he cobra 29??? The cobra 29s are seeing over 100 watts peak with an rfx 75 installed. I do like the option to switch back the power though ie the deadkey and the peak. Would be good for amp use. No noise blanker???? Get rid of the eco all together. Would perfer the larger meter rather then the tiny little meter that comes on it. I like the adjustable talkback feature. I hate talk back on my connex. It is either on or off and if you have it on then you have to dial the mic gain way down to get rid of the feedback.

Not a sideband radio so the counter is not really needed unless you are liscensed to run 10 meter.

I would just as soon magnum make this radio without the band switch so that it only works on 11 meter. The vast majority that ore going to buy this are not liscensed anyway so what does it matter if it is just an illegal high powered CB only.

But it is a step int he right direction towards a high powered no frills radio in a smaller chassis.

I would like to see a little more carrier power. My connex will do about 50 carrier and just over 200 peak.

If I was the person in designing a radio. This would be pretty close but I would get rid of the eco all together, get rid of the band switch and lock it on 11 meter. Larger meter. Knob controlled deadkey and peak power adjustment (put the knob in the same place the band selector is). A little more power to make better use of the RFX so that it put out the same as the 29s with the rfx installed. Get rid of the roger beep. Add a noise blanker switch. Get rid of the SRW calibrate setup and go with the galaxy style auto calibrate setup. Use that switch so that you switch over to check your modulation etc seperatly. A dimmer control to adjust the light levels (not just a switch, but a knob). It would come with a noise canceling mic similar to the astatic 636 or the rk 56.
