May be he is right with his alternative facts. But the real fact is as a real O/O I drive about 7000 miles per month and I average about 2.70 per mile and I get my confirmation from the brokers . I do not deal with a middle man ...... can you figure it out . Do you think a real O/O needs to cheat ??? Probably those numbers are too big for you . Instead of writing nonsense here you should educate yourself. ELD IS NOT THE PROBLEM !!!! That mandate should be for people like you . The people who Can’t do things on their own . People who need supervision.

As far as I'm concerned driving time should be counted as time I am on DOT enforced areas (roads, highways, etc), if I'm on a customer's property it has no dealing with the dot mark it how want. I personally go off duty to load and unload and had my logs looked over multiple times by enforcement, guess what, they didn't say a thing. If you want to be a goody to shoes good for you, if you want you maximize your time good too.

And some elds can be edited after 24hrs and doesn't show anything.

This whole eld mandate reminds me of well the online Obama care sign went, and I'm sure it will have the same outcome.

It has to show edits and note a reason for the edit and by who if it's edited after its been approved (back office). If it doesn't it's nor complaint

Didn't say I was speeding. But I do have to run faster now or I don't make it. I like running slower. Always have. Couple million miles not one blemish. Now I feel pressured to run the speed limit all the time. I don't WANT to run that hard but now I have to. If I get to my drop day 4 I loose time unloading where evening of day 3 drop my trailer go across the street come back in the am get it and go I don't loose miles but I loose home time at the end of my run. It sucks.

It's compliant to what's currently required. There are always loop holes in everything that people with abuse, just like driving at 4mph.
